Google Profiles are not waist of time because every link is counted back. I however discovered something ironical: they are shown in top search results of ‘Yahoo’ & ‘Bing’ rather than ‘Google’ and this happens with my profile!

I dont think its a waste of time especially if its only going to take a minute to update your profile.

My personal profile shows up at the very bottom of the search results page. Not really as one of the top ten results, but just an additional one with my picture and a link to the profile. I think you have to fill out a lot of information on the profile and supply a picture before it will start coming up on searches.

It seems to only work with people searches though. The profile for oes tsetnoc doesn’t come up when I search those keywords.

Well, I added links to my google profile, but didn’t make it possible to find the profile via Google’s search results, so I’ll see what happens there.

At this point, I don’t think any link is a waste of time.
